Arte y Pico Award from Lori!

Arte y Pico Award from Lori!
I'm honored to received this award from Lori at http://dakotacityquilter.blogspot.com/. Such a surprise, and now fun to send to others.

Here's the 5 rules bit for this award:
1. Choose 5 blogs you consider deserving of this award for their creativity, design, interesting material, and contribution to the blogging community, regardless of the language.
2. Each award should have the name of the author and a link to his/her blog to be visited by everyone.
3. Each award winner should show the award and put the name and link to the blog that presented him/her with the award.
4. The award winner and the one who has given the award should show the Arte y Pico blog so everyone will know the origin of this award. Translated, it means "the peak of art."
5. Show these rules - done!

1. Penny Sanford at http://pennysanford.typepad.com/. She is an amazing Mississippian, who creates beautiful ceramics, loves quilting, antiques, and her rescued West Highland Terriers. Her site is full of beautiful photography and great ideas.
I now have all my quilting supplies organized in a great All My Memories tote she told me about.~

2. Jenny Harris at Allsorts is an illustrator of children's books, and a creative crafter. She has the most wonderful tutorial about making simple Criss-Cross coasters that I love to give as a hostess gift.

3. Bonnie Hunter at Quiltville has a fabulous collection of gorgeous, free, scrap quilt patterns, and wonderful simple directions. Orange Crush is her current free Mystery Quilt that is on Step 6.
She does a lot of quilting for charity and encourages her readers to use her free patterns to do the same.

4. Judy Laquidara at Patchwork Times hosts Quilt an Hour a Day

challenges and Quiltathons that inspire you to "Get it Done!"

5. Candace at Wraggedypatches has an interesting blog and

is having her 100th post giveaway!

Hi there, thanks for stopping by my blog! I love the picture on your banner, especially that spotted pony in the back, I'm partial to Appy's as you might have figured! :) I am busy getting ready to leave for a trip but I promise to come back and do some catch-up reading when I return!

Hi Quiltwhinny, and thanks for your post to my blog. As someone who did quilting back in the 70's, and who now has the time and resources to start back again, your links and postings are a valuable resource to a restarting 'newbie'. I have some more pictures of quilts from the fair if you would like to see them. http://s283.photobucket.com/albums/kk312/WileyCoyote_NE/Cherry%20County%20Fair%20and%20Rodeo/

Congratulations on your award!
